Guidelines for presentation
These are the guidelines for both oral and poster presentations. If you have and further questions, please contact the conference organisation office.
Oral presentation
- We will provide a video projector and laptop computer equipped with MS Office; if you wish to use a different type of software, you must bring your own computer.
- If you will need an overhead projector, please contact the conference office.
- Presentation time is ten minutes, with an additional ten minutes for discussion; the moderators will ensure adherence to the time restrictions.

Poster
- Format: DIN A0 (841mm x 1189mm or 33.1 inches x 46.8 inches), displayed upright.
- Presentation time: Wednesday, 21.03.2007 to Friday, 23.03.2007.
- Hanging of the posters must be done by the authors, using „Power Strips“ which will be provided. Please consult the poster plan in the programme (which you will receive upon registration) to see which area to hang your poster.
- Poster sessions:
On Wednesday, 21.03.2007 from 15:30-17:00 Uhr and on Thursday, 22.03.2007 from 13:00-14:30 poster presentation will take place in parallel. Poster tours will be moderated (moderators are listed in the conference programme); authors will have, depending on their section, five minutes to present their poster. Afterwards, there will be 45 minutes provided for discussion with the author.
The award for best poster will be given by a jury led by Prof. Dr. Volker Hoffmann, University of Hohenheim. Guidelines on the presentation and evaluation of scientific posters can be found here within a few days.
